365: Day 36

Day 36: My husband’s 40th birthday spanned the entire weekend, starting Friday and ending with the Patriot’s sad Super Bowl loss last night. Still can’t believe he’s 40, especially when he still acts like the 17-year old I once knew.

365: Day 35

Day 35: Today is my husband’s momentous 40th birthday. I’d say he’s pretty blessed.

365: Day 34

Day 34: “Mama, did you know that Woogie’s armpits get sweaty?” I swear, my daughter knows everything there is to know about our two dogs. She asked me yesterday what happens to dogs when they die. I think I botched that explanation, but got away with it.

365: Day 33

Day 33: I really marvel a lot at what one can do with various photo editing apps on the iPhone. This is my son sitting on regular pavement at the park this evening. I shot both pics with Camera+, edited a little bit within the same app and finished up using Snapseed. Pretty cray-cray.

365: Day 32

Day 32: I did not take a single image of ANYTHING today, therefore I have taken a screenshot of one of my Facebook posts. I’m sick and feel crappy. Throw me a bone.

365: Day 31

Day 31: One of the very many reasons why I love getting to do what I do.

365: Day 30

Day 30: The friends I choose to closely surround myself with are generally kind, reasonable people with some depth, good-intentioned, laid-back, loyal, selfless, and funny. My friends are freaking funny.

365: Day 29

Day 29: There are things that my husband does that make me shake my head. Not in frustration or anger (usually), but in amusement. He does things that remind me of things I remember seeing my dad do, which is just weird. The guy is about to turn 40, so that must explain it.

365: Day 28

Day 28: There was a time when my “thing” was shoes; and then make-up products; and earrings; and scarves; and clothes for my kids; and clothes for my kids; and clothes for me; and things for my home; and clothes for my kids. Now the thing that gets my heart pumping is when I see something that I can use as a prop. It is where my mind automatically goes.

365: Day 27

Day 27: Sick baby girl missed so much school this week.
